Bailey Zitko, Editor-in-Chief

Bailey Zitko (she/her) is the Fall 2025 editor-in-chief for Xpress Magazine. Previously, Bailey was a staff writer for Xpress and has had her work featured in The Sunset Beacon. Bailey is a second-generation SF State student raised in Encinitas, California. She most enjoys writing long-form profiles and investigative stories. She looks to ladybugs for good luck and when she’s not writing she’s probably cutting her bangs shorter or listening to Norah Jones – sometimes both. Bailey hopes to pursue a career that makes people feel seen and dreams of having her own column one day.
