Kai Torrey (he/him) is the Design Editor for Xpress Magazine. He is a Visual Communications Design Major here at San Francisco State and hopes to one day work in the fields of UX/UI or graphic design. Influenced by his fine arts background, he loves to let his designs express this with unconventional type and image treatment or through a mixture of physical and digital media. His design philosophy includes keeping things fun and engaging with designs that place fostering creativity and consumer delight first. In his free time, Kai enjoys collecting vinyl, thrifting, and discovering new areas around the city with his friends.
