Olivia Mendez, Managing Editor

Olivia Mendez is the Spring 2025 managing editor for Xpress Magazine. As a fourth-year journalism student at San Francisco State University, she reports on sustainable construction and urban agriculture. She has a professional background in construction management and received two Associate degrees from City College of San Francisco in architecture and in construction management. Raised in Sacramento, California, she’s lived in San Francisco’s Outer Sunset District since 2013. In her spare time she makes stained glass artwork. She looks forward to graduating and finishing 19th grade in December 2025.
