Shei is a first-generation Mexican American student at San Francisco State University, driven by a passion for bold, experimental design. Her hands-on approach includes working with mixed media such as unusual materials, collaging, texture making, and stamping. Deeply influenced by her cultural background, Shei’s work is shaped by a unique ability to see different perspectives, paths, and outcomes. She advocates for intersectionality, amplifying LGBTQ+ and marginalized voices by challenging social norms and pushing creative boundaries. Shei truly enjoys the design process, savoring the discovery and growth that comes with each step.
