The things we throw away
The collection of trash here is only a small sample of what can be found throughout the Bay Area and the world. Trash can be many things, such as a broken tv, broken wardrobe and even a bed- which are all harmful to the environment. Throughout this process of finding trash in the Bay Area, we found trash bags, pens, and even instant noodle cups scattered around. The amount of trash found on the streets was too much to photograph and wildlife can also consume these random items on the street. Some items were found just feet away from disposable bins and areas where waste was available to be put away.
