Angelique Persails (she/they) is a staff writer and photographer for Xpress Magazine from Temecula, California. Persails is now a fourth year student at SF State where she is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in journalism with a minor in communications. She is passionate about reporting on local issues, events and the arts, with a concentration in music. She believes that the true meaning of journalism lies in how we serve our communities. Her writing has been published by Bad Wreck Media, where she reviews recently released music in her spare time.
