Kai Sabins (she/her) is a staff reporter for Xpress Magazine. Originally from San Francisco, Kai is in her third year at SF State where she is pursuing her bachelor’s degree in journalism with a minor in international relations. She plans to pursue journalism on an international level and is especially interested in writing about politics and world issues. Kai believes the point of good journalism is to provide an outlet for underrepresented voices. When Kai’s not writing, she’s either spending time with her sorority sisters, surfing or working.
