Asé Mora (she/her) is a staff reporter for Xpress Magazine and a freelance journalist based in the Bay Area. While pursuing a bachelor’s degree at SF State in journalism and a minor in Broadcast and Electronic Communication Arts and Deaf Studies, she’s been published by the San Francisco Bayview National Black Newspaper. She covers racial and systemic issues impacting minority communities, like healthcare inequality, environmental racism and economic disparities.
